We have an opportunity to assist Appalachia Service Project (ASP) meet the needs of several homes in Appalachia who have need of septic and/or water service. Appalachia Service Project’s vision is that substandard housing in Central Appalachia will be eradicated and that everyone who comes into contact with this ministry will be transformed.
Currently, we are working with ASP on four septic tank sites in Brenton County, West Virginia and Breathitt, Kentucky. We have organized two teams that are currently making site visits and beginning the preliminary work for the projects.
If you are interested in assisting with our efforts in the Appalachian region, please let us know. Currently, we are looking for individuals who have experience with water wells or septic fields (evaluation/design through construction of each). Please let us know if you have experience in these fields and would be willing to make a trip (or two) …to several home sites to assess their needs, come up with a design/solution, possibly work through some of the permitting and/or construct a system.
Some of the trips may be overnight with lodging provided by ASP. If you have any questions or would like additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us at email@example.com or 865.226.9524.
